Lamborghini on Friday introduced the Revuelto SV, a limited-edition hybrid version of its V12 flagship that ranks as the fastest and most powerful production car ever to leave the company’s factory.
The new model extends Lamborghini’s SV lineage, which began 55 years ago with the Miura SV and has since delivered lighter, more aerodynamic, and more powerful takes on the brand’s top supercars. With the Revuelto SV, Lamborghini adds electrification to that formula, pairing its naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors for a combined output of more than 1,050 horsepower. The car sprints from zero to 100 kph (62 mph) in 2.4 seconds.
Lamborghini will build just 1,963 examples of the Revuelto SV, and pricing starts at $741,172.
A More Race-Oriented Revuelto
The SV was developed to push the Revuelto’s performance envelope further, according to Alessandro Farmeschi, the model line director. “The Revuelto SV gives our customers the opportunity to go beyond in terms of performance,” Farmeschi told CNBC. “We wanted to give them something more race-oriented, and, at the same time, something that could give them the adrenaline of driving Lamborghini [while] really enjoying and having fun driving.”
Beyond the added power, the Revuelto SV features revised aerodynamics with sharper angles and more aggressive fins, wings, and air intakes to improve airflow and downforce. Lamborghini also fitted a specially tuned suspension, a new carbon-ceramic brake disc system, and a new Pilota Mode driving setting that unlocks a highly customizable setup for track use.
The interior has been reworked to feel more like a racecar or fighter-jet cockpit. Buyers can choose special sport seats with a carbon shell structure or optional monocoque carbon fiber race seats, which trade some comfort for a more authentic motorsport feel.
Collector Appeal and Value Retention
Most Lamborghini limited editions sell out before they are publicly announced, and SV variants tend to command premium prices and strong demand in the collector market. Farmeschi emphasized that a Lamborghini purchase is as much about emotion as it is about long-term value.
“When you buy a Lamborghini, you buy a Lamborghini because you want it, because you like, you want to experience driving it, but also because it’s a car that keeps the value to the time,” he said.
The Revuelto SV’s combination of hybrid technology, extreme performance, and limited availability positions it as a standout in the ultra-high-end supercar segment. With production capped at 1,963 units and a price tag above $740,000, it is aimed squarely at the most dedicated enthusiasts and collectors.
